MR magnesium wheels Porsche 991 GT3 RS

For the new wheel set suitable for the Porsche 991 GT3 RS Manthey Racing is using the design and technology being used in the Porsche 991 RSR which they raced in the season 2015 and won the WEC world championship. Their aim was to transform the technology from the race track to the street. Using the material Magnesium MR was able to drop the weight dramatically and save ±13kg compared to the original wheel set in similar size.

The specific weight is 7.0 kg for the 9,5 x 20 offset 50 front and 9.5 kg for the 12,5 x 21 offset 48. The finishes we have available are Brilliant Silver, Satin Black, Titanium or Gold. We can also have them custom finished in basically any color, please contact us if you are interested in a custom finish.

You will receive 4 wheels,
2 pieces for front BBS RE1640 9,5x20 ET50 GT3 RS mec
2 pieces for rear BBS RE1641 12,5x21 ET48 GT3 RS mec

These wheels can be wrapped in your OEM standard Tires or a set of 265/35-20 and 325/30/21s, with the option of the following tire brand/models:
- Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 N (Porsche Spec) (Streetable Track & Competition Tire - OEM on Porsche GT3 RS)
- Pirelli Trofeo R (The Stickest Streetable Track & Competition Tire - OEM on the McLaren P1, and many other Hypercars)
- Other tyre brands and the Michelin CUP R and prices upon request

* the demo set is used on our own demo 992 GT3 RS for about 100km(60miles). The sey is bassically as new and has a Gyeon glass coating.
